Hooksett, NH – The New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs are proud hosts of the Veterans Day weekend Eastern Hockey League showcase, Saturday November 8 through Monday November 10, 2014 at the Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH. All 19 EHL teams will be on display as they showcase their talents to a large collection of NCAA College and Professional scouts.
Head Coach and General Manager Ryan Frew had this to say, “We are thrilled to be hosting an EHL showcase this year. We have a top notch facility, second to not many in the league and we are happy to get all of the teams, coaches and owners into our building to show the Eastern Hockey League what we have to offer. Our building is within 100 miles of 100 schools and we have a proven track record of getting those schools in our doors to see the product we are offering. We make every effort to accommodate scouts from college to the professional ranks. Our heated scouting room overlooking the main arena and catered food offered up in a private heated classroom throughout the weekend is always a big hit and keeps our visitors coming back…”
He also added, “This is about the hockey at the end of the day. We are all responsible for putting the best teams we can on the ice each and every day. There is some good talent in the Eastern Hockey League. If you look at some of the match-ups over the Veterans Day weekend, it’s easy to predict a great weekend of hockey I am sure anyone that comes out will be treated to some fast paced, hard hitting action.”
The Jr. Monarchs will begin their showcase games on Saturday November 8th when they face the New Jersey Rockets at noon.
