The New Hampshire Junior Monarchs are proud to announce that NCDC forward, Mitch Shaheen of North Andover, MA has committed to continuing his academic and hockey career at Endicott College. Shaheen says he is excited to join the team and looks forward to playing for one of the best division 3 teams in the country. “The campus is gorgeous especially being right on the ocean. Endicott has an outstanding history of setting up graduates in great careers” Shaheen said.
Mitch Shaheen, who has been with the program since 2015 currently has 13 goals and 16 assists in 41 games this season. Reaching his 100th point in a Monarchs jersey last weekend with an assist. Shaheen plans to study either business management or entrepreneurship at Endicott. Coach Frew said, “[Shaheen] is an incredibly hard working, defensive minded forward who can add offensive touch.” He continued, “He plays all situations for the ‘Narchs and will be a great college player.”
Mitch says that playing junior hockey has taught him how to handle adversity and come back a better player. “The Monarchs have taught me many things on and off the ice that have helped shape me into who I am today.”
The organization wishes Mitch and his family the best of luck and look forward to him watching him during his college hockey and academic career.
