Ruffolo to Yale

The New Hampshire Junior Monarchs are very pleased to announce that forward Trent Ruffolo has committed to Yale University for the fall of either 2011 or 2012.

A ’92 forward from the Panther’s Alliance program in Florida, Trent is very excited about the prospect of playing for such a program as Yale. He states, “I’m looking forward to playing for Coach Allain and I’m planning on working hard to contribute to the success of the Yale hockey program.”

“It’s a tremendous honor to be considered for one of the top hockey programs in the ECAC and I’m excited about the opportunity as a student athlete that has been given to me through such a prestigious school and hockey program.” Ruffolo would go on to say. A skilled winger who excels at making plays in small areas, Trent is a very welcome addition to the Monarchs this season. “We knew that Trent was a player we had to have when we saw him play late last season against the Boston Advantage midget program.” states Monarchs’ Head Coach/GM Sean Tremblay, “It was not only his play with the puck, but also away from the puck that stood out immediately to both Coach Dennehy and myself.”

Trent is looking forward to taking his game to the next level this season. He will be relied upon heavily to provide an offensive spark to the lineup whenever he touches the ice.

Trent is the son of Kelly and John Ruffolo or Coral Springs, FLA.
