NH Monarchs Announce U-16 Coaching Staff

Hooksett, NH –Monarchs are pleased to announce the hiring of Associate Head Coaches Kevin Purdy and Jeremy Vega to the newly formed EJHL U-16 Team. The team will compete as a full-season team in the EJHL 16-Under League and play in approximately 50 games beginning with the 2012-13 campaign.

The Monarchs are very excited to have both Kevin and Jeremy join our staff and train some of the best ’96, ’97, and ’98 born players. Director of Junior Hockey Operations and GM/Head Coach of the Monarchs EJHL team, Ryan Frew had this to say about the announcement, “Jeremy and Kevin are both long time, committed coaches from within our organization, they deserve this chance and have earned this opportunity, I am proud to have them on my staff. They are dedicated to the sport and are both very excited to get this initiative off the ground successfully. They are extremely passionate about the Monarchs organization, and making players better. They are hard workers who are driven to prove that they will help us all be successful at this level.” Both coaches have worked at various positions from prep school, to high school, as well as youth hockey and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the players they train in the upcoming years. They understand this is a development team and they also understand the training philosophy we employ here with the Monarchs. There is no doubt they will have a huge impact on their players’ lives both on and off of the ice.

All players born in ‘96, ’97, along with elite’98s are asked to attend tryouts the weekend of April 21. Tryouts will be held at Tri Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH. For those interested or for more information please contact either Kevin or Jeremy.
