Monarchs Take 6 of 6 at Warrior Classic

Hooksett, NH -Brian Billet stopped 88 of 92 shots, and Jeff Hannan returned to the lineup with a 5 point weekend as the Monarchs took all 6 available points in wins over the Kings (6-1), the Falcons (4-1), and the Huskies (3-2) this weekend at the Warrior Classic.

In just his second weekend as a member of the EJHL Monarchs, the 16-year-old Billet recorded a 95.6% save percentage, and had a 1.33 GAA in showcase held this past weekend in Haverhill. Jeff Hannan made up for the time he spent out of the lineup due to a high ankle sprain pacing the Monarchs offensively with 2 goals and 3 assists on the weekend.

Other contributors to the team’s success at the showcase were Matt Mangene, who had 3 goals and 1 assist on the weekend, and Adam Shemansky, who continued to show his playmaking abilities, notching 4 assists in 3 games. The Monarchs head north this weekend to Vermont as they face the Green Mountain Glades for the first time this season.
