Damon commits to Gustavus Adolphus College

The New Hampshire Junior Monarchs are proud to announce that 2018-2019, 1999 Goaltender Justin Damon of St. Michael, MN has committed to continuing his hockey and academic career at Gustavus Adolphus College (NCAA D3 – MIAC) in St. Peter, MN. Damon sat at 7th overall goaltender in the USPHL Premier league this past season with a 15-5-1-2 record and a .940 SV%. 

“I really liked everything the school had to offer, from the coaching staff to the training facilities and the academics” Damon said. “After my first tour of the school I knew this is where I wanted to go.” During his Freshmen year he will be focusing on general classes while he figures out what he would like major in. “Juniors really helped me grow up” he continued, “I really think it helped my game devolpe to the best its ever been and I can’t thank the Monarchs enough for everything they’ve done in the past year for me.” 

The organization wishes the best of luck to Justin as he prepares for college this Fall.
