In the Monarchs’ EJHL Showcase, Gacek continued to score at a feverish pace putting up 7 points in 3 games, which included a 2 goal, 2 assist performance in a pivotal Northern Division game against the team’s perennial league rival the Boston Junior Bruins. In 10 games, Gacek is the Monarchs’ leading scorer with 12 goals and 9 assists for 21 points. He is a 2011 recruit for Miami University, and is the son of Janet and Mark Gacek of Dracut, MA.
