The NH Jr. Monarchs have acquired Chris Lee from the South Shore Kings. Lee, a 6’0/180lbs Forward had 21 points in 34 games for the Kings this season.
Lee is a skilled forward and he will add, “grit, speed and scoring” according to Head Coach Ryan Frew. The University of New England commit said he is looking forward to the chance to play with a good team that has an opportunity to make a successful run in the 2018-2019 NCDC playoffs. When asked what he needs to do to come in to adapt and bond quickly with the team Lee said, “needing to be flexible and know that I have a role on the team.“ He adds, “If I am able to do what I am asked to do then I believe I’ll make a positive impact for the team.”
Lee hopes that playing under Coach Frew and the Monarchs organization will help with adjusting to UNE next season. “Coming into a team that is going to be competitive in the final stretch of the season will give me experience with playing in high intensity games that are need to win in order to make a good playoff run.” Lee intends to study applied exercise science and join the Air Force after graduation. While in the Air Force he will continue with classes to achieve his Masters in physical therapy.
Welcome to the Monarchs, Chris!
