Brenden Cain earns NEHC ALL-Academic Team

For the 2nd straight year Brenden Cain earns NEHC ALL-Academic Team

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Six members of the Saint Anselm College men’s hockey team were honored as members of the 2016-17 New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) All-Academic Team, as announced on Tuesday.

Earning the accolade were Brenden Cain, Brendon Kerrigan, Vin D’Amato, Nick Gorski, Joey Harrington and Colin Soucy. The six were among 102 student-athletes in the NEHC to receive the honor.

Cain, Kerrigan and Gorski received the honor for the second-straight year, while D’Amato, Harrington and Soucy earned the accolade for the first time in their careers.

In order to be eligible for All-Academic recognition, a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed one full year at their current institution.
